Welcome to the Professional Learning and Development page of the Prince Albert Community Trust website.  This is a place for all members of staff at the PACT to access, read, consider, debate and discuss the most relevant current educational issues.

Whether you want to explore teaching and learning, or gain insights into leadership and management, this is the place for you.  It’s also the place to find expert opinion and the latest documents relating to school business management and school support.

You have the opportunity to share #whatitaughttoday and have a sneaky peak at what’s been going on in other classrooms across the trust.  If you’re an NQT, an RQT or you’re interested in taking part in our book club, have a look at the dates and question prompts.  Equally, if you’ve read a great book and want to tell us all about it, get in touch and have it featured on our Teaching & Learning book reviews page or our Leadership & Management book reviews page.

We’re big on research informed practice here at the PACT.  If you’re thinking about doing practitioner research in your classroom and want some guidance, you’ve come to the right place. You can also check out the classroom-based enquiries that are going on here at the PACT.

If you don’t actually know what it is you need, we recommend you start with our Teaching & Learning featured blog or our Leadership & Management featured blog.  The featured blog is a piece of current educational debate that we think deserves to be widely read.  If you would like to submit your writing to be our featured blog, just get in touch.
